First Consultation

Booking a consultation

Appointments tend to be 2-3 weeks after booking, due to Dr Banerjea’s busy schedule.

On the day of your consultation

Arrive early on the day of your appointment, as Dr Banerjea’s assistant doctors will go through your case in detail, ahead of your consultation with Dr Saptarshi Banerjea.

Allow 2 to 3 hours for the entire consultation process.

Before your consultation

Ensure you have collected a case taking proforma  prior to your first appointment (at least a few days before). This will need to be filled out and brought with you on the day.

The consultation

The first consultation with Dr Saptarshi Banerjea usually lasts for about 15 minutes, and subsequent appointments are 10 minutes. During this time you will be asked a series of questions designed to establish an individualised picture of your health and personality. This may mean recalling significant events in your life, medical history and family history.

Consultation Fees

Please note that consultation fees reflect the expertise and reputation of Dr Saptarshi, rather than the length of time of the consultation.

First Consultation

Subsequent Consultations
INR 700

Please note that patients who have discontinued treatment for 12 months, will be charged as a new case upon returning to the clinic.

Follow up appointments

Frequency of appointments

The first follow up appointment will be 4 weeks after the first consultation, and all subsequent appointments are 5-7 weeks apart. This may vary depending on the case.

Please make sure to book an appointment for your follow up consultation 2 weeks prior to completion of the course of medicine.

Follow up appointments can also take place online, via Whatsapp video call. Please note that the fees for online follow up consultations are RS.1500.

 

After the consultation

  • You will be given a prescription and a course of medicine.
  • New patients will be provided with medicines for 4 weeks, and follow up patients will be given medicine for 5-7 weeks.
  • Any additional medicines, eg. herbal tinctures will be charged separately. These can be purchased at local pharmacies or through 1mg.com or www.healthmug.com

Mid-appointment emergencies

All mid appointment emergencies are handled by our clinic doctors from 4-7 PM (Except Sundays).
